COCONUT BONSAI Extreme Cut Method | Reducing Leaf Size Fast
After the Level Cut, it was observed that the length of the shoot is still too tall. To get the height and the leaf reduced drastically, another cut must be done which I call the Extreme Cut Method. Extreme to the sense that all leaves are cut and what remains is the youngest leaf cut and the growing point. BTC Extreme will be showing you the Extreme Cut Method applied to a tall coconut seedling that will be converted into a bonsai. Doing this technique, the leaf size will be reduced in a few weeks time to achieve the bonsai effect. Ultimate care should be done when using this cut, if it is cut too low, the growing point might get damaged and may lead to the death of the seeling.
