Long Jetty is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located on a peninsula between Tuggerah Lake and the Pacific Ocean south of The Entrance. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area.

The only street in The Entrance district to go from the lake to the sea starts in Long Jetty as Toowoon Bay Road.

The jetty after which the town was named is located at the end of Archibold Street. The jetty was opened in 1915 and celebrated 100 years in 2015. This provided a cross lake service with Wyong. At the time some of the main services for Long Jetty were located around The Entrance Road / Archibold Street area including the former post office.

Long Jetty has previously had a number of recreation services for visitors in the caravan parks and tourist accommodations. This includes the former Savoy theatre (part of the R. Wain & Co Pty. Ltd group) and the Long Jetty Roller Skating rink (currently the paint ball centre). The theatre was, following its closure, a Jewel Supermarket.

Up until the early 1990s Long Jetty had a large number of financial service organisations, operating mainly as agencies of The Entrance. This included Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, State Building Society (St. George), and State Bank. Whilst the buildings remain between Thompson Street and Pacific Street (backing on to Bank Lane) on The Entrance Road all have closed. In the most recent years Long Jetty has had a mini revitalisation as a location for contemporary and second hand furniture.

Jubilee Oval is located in Long Jetty. It is a cricket oval for The Entrance Cricket Club, together with Taylor Park at The Entrance. After many decades of progressive land acquisition, the Oval crossed Rhodin Drive to link with Sir Baden-Powell Reserve. The reserve is the location of 1st Tuggerah Lakes Scout Group and was also the former location of 2nd Tuggerah Lakes Sea Scouts.

The restaurant is located in Kyoto Fushimi down town. The furniture are well aligned with the traditional Japanese mid level restaurants. This is a paradise of giant crabs, and if you like them, you will love it. My wife and her friends ordered the crabs legs, and cooked them by in boiled water with vegetables and tofu. Simply delicious! Served dish by dish, you are sure to have a generous serving and spread of crab cooked in various ways. Steamed, grilled, in chawanmushi, in hotpot rice. Very fresh and great for crab lovers! Must try if you are in kyoto or osaka.And don't forget to snap a photo in front of the huge crab sign in the restaurant. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Bato Springs - A Natural Public Pool Resort in San Pablo Laguna

Bato Springs is located at San Pablo, Laguna, going to Dolores, Quezon. They have four pools. Two pools are tiled, while the other two have cemented floors, making the spring somewhat more natural. The water comes from Mt. Banahaw, which people believe that it can cure a variety of ailments. The water is very cold, but it is very good to relieve stress.

Bato Springs is a perfect place to unwind and reflect with nature. It is also a romantic place if you want to spend quality time with your special someone. It is a place of natural home ground for butterflies, dragonflies and birds. It is a best place to bring your friends and family to relish the beauty of Laguna. I’ve been to many resorts but this one really stands out. It has very clear and sparkling water coming from the mountain.

Walking around Bato Springs is really a treat. The place is very peaceful, especially if you will visit the place during weekdays. You’ll see different kind of huts and cottages that guest can rent. The cottages are your typical booth, a table in the middle, a nipa roof on top. The huts, which are of different sizes, are reminiscent of the traditional nipa hut but with some obviously modern furnishings like metal roofing, cement ladders, posts and glass windows. They offer rooms good for up to 8 persons. The resort also have a large pavilion for different functions, this is also a fun place for your friends, families and officemates to sing your favorite videoke song.

If you don’t bring enough food, drinks, or snacks they have a store open until 10PM. They also offer short order food. You can order from their different dishes. It’s not expensive but if you have your own food, of course you’ll save money. But if you will be coming with a group I suggest bringing food. You can also bring utensils for cooking so you can prepare your meals.

To reach the main entrance of the resort, it will be about a 5-minute ride. Don't bring a car that has a low clearance from the ground. Eventhough the road is cemented, some portions have deep depressions or bumps.

It better to arrive early in the morning, since the place becomes crowded later in the day.

If you are looking for a place in San Pablo, Laguna, where your are in sync with nature, and definitely within your budget, Bato Springs is the place to be.

Motivated by a desire to prove something, we started organic container gardening. The lack of land did not deter us from pursuing our goal of becoming “experienced farmer”. We grabbed every container, filled them with soil, planted every possible vegetable and hanged them in every nook and cranny in our house. We were hungry to learn all about farming so we talked to people, asked questions, researched and tried. It was not easy at first, but we worked hard and persevered. It didn’t take long for us to discover an important benefit of farming to one’s health and nutrition. Our health is paramount and the only way to ensure the quality of food we eat is to plant it ourselves. That motivated us further. We leverage technology and posted photos of our garden and produce on Facebook. Soon, people who saw the photos took interest in what we are doing. They came and visited us. Many purchased vegetables and we started to make some income. That fueled our entrepreneurship spirit and decided to convert our hobby into business. We rented a lot in the middle of subdivision in San Pablo City, Laguna and turn it into an urban farm complete with bahay -kubo as our office and store. We stocked up seeds and other farming products for people to purchase. Finally we launched the “Pick and Pay “scheme where people can come and pick the produce of their choice and then pay for it. This gave them a pleasant experience and got them asking about urban farming. Gradually, a few started requesting us to replicate what we do in their vacant lots. Those requests commenced our land conversion business and plantation programs. We want everyone to know that farming is important because it provides livelihood to the community and it contributes to country’s poverty reduction.
